Important California Deadlines
Within 20 days of first providing work, labor, or materials to the project
Private Works
GC: 90 days from completion; or 60 days from Notice of Completion/Cessation
Sub/Supplier: 90 days from completion; or 30 days from Notice of Completion/Cessation
Public Works
Stop Notice: within 90 days after completion or cessation; or 30 days from notice of completion, acceptance, or cessation.
Bond Claim: within 90 days after completion.
Federal Projects
Within 90 days of the last labor or materials.
